This is a heavy duty, big kids playground I built 2 ½ years ago when my daughter was five years old. This is not one of those lame home depot swingset kits. It was built from plans purchased from Jacks Backyard and extended to be a bit higher, stronger, and to include monkey bars, climbing rope and a serious climbing wall. My daughter is an aggressive climber and I wanted something she could grow into. All the local kids think this is the coolest thing in the neighborhood. ? Monkey bar sides are 12 foot 4x4 pressure treated pine
? Monkey bar rungs and hangers are 1 3/8? galvanized steel tubes counter sunk and screwed so they will not rotate.
? Swings seats are commercial grade.
? Swing chains are 1? steel links rated at over xxxx lbs each, the lower few feet are wrapped in hockey tape to keep fingers out.
? Swing hangers are each made of harden steel angle iron with 3/8? locking bolts
? Climbing wall is 5/4 decking planks screwed to 2x6 PT studs
? Metolius climbing holds and beveled oak blocks screwed in.
Term of Sale:
Asking $750 cash, which is the cost of raw materials alone. Having someone build this for you would cost at least three times as much. You have to disassemble and transport it out yourself, and you assume all responsibility and liability for it after sale.
